Easy Cheesy Patty Melt Dip with Video Presentation

My husband and I love patty melts, and we order them often when we go out to eat. This recipe idea came to me when I was thinking of appetizer ideas I wanted to serve at our upcoming small but annual big game day party. It’s an easy and delicious twist on a patty melt burger, and once you try it, you’ll be amazed how much the flavor of this Patty Melt Dip resembles the iconic patty melt burger, caramelized onions and all!

Healthy Nutritious Chicken with Strawberry Satay Sauce #SundaySupper

Since a traditional satay sauce is peanut butter based, I thought I’d do a play on a PB & J by adding in season, plump and juicy Florida strawberries to the satay sauce. The result is a sweet and savory dipping sauce which pairs wonderfully well with grilled chicken. To say the kids will love this dish of Chicken with Strawberry Satay Sauce is an understatement! After all, who wouldn’t love a dipping sauce that tastes like a peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich?

New Year’s Eve Appetizer & Cocktail Recipe Roundup – Friday’s Featured Foodie Feastings

I always enjoy a gathering of appetizers where I can pick and choose my favorites, and pile them on a plate one by one. I think there’s something in my brain that tells me that, because they’re small, the calories don’t count as much…so please don’t burst my bubble. After all, diet season is right around the corner so I can and will worry about those pesky additional pounds then. Until then…Happy New Year! Let’s Party!!

Festive Shrimp Cocktail Appetizer Bites

For the recipe I’m sharing today, I’ve made a homemade cocktail sauce. However, please feel free to use your favorite variety of store-bought cocktail sauce if that is your preference. Having said that, there are only three ingredients in my homemade cocktail sauce; ketchup, horseradish (add as much or as little as you like), and smoked paprika. Save money and make your own at home. You’ll be glad you did!

Crunchy Creamy Broccoli Cauliflower Vegetable Tots

Since I’m not one to shy away from a challenge (a mental challenge I gave to myself), I decided to make my own broccoli cauliflower vegetable tots and the results were every bit as tasty (even more so) than what I’d purchased in the market. Plus, since I’d made them myself I knew exactly what is in them, and now so do you!
