A chicken Caesar Salad Wrap cut in half and stacked together on a sheet of foil.

Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps come together in about 5 minutes with grocery store convenience items, such as rotisserie chicken, bottled Caesar dressing, and grated Parmesan cheese.

A cut in half chicken Caesar salad wrap filled with lettuce, chicken and dressing on a sheet of foil.

Using store-bought rotisserie chicken can be one of the best ways to get a fast, easy, and delicious meal on the table without much effort. A visual ingredient list for making Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps.

How many chicken Caesar salad wraps does this recipe make?

As written this recipe will make 4 extra large chicken tortilla wraps.

Each wrap can be eaten whole, feeding four people, or you can easily cut the wraps in half to serve and additional 4 people if desired.

Or, double the recipe to make 8, or triple the recipe to make 12 wraps because everyone's going to want a whole wrap! They're that good!

What is the best way to keep flour tortillas soft and pliable for wrapping?

I like to warm each tortilla in the microwave for 7-10 seconds on high.

I then use that tortilla immediately after it comes out of the microwave when it is at its most soft and pliable state.

*Special note - If warming many tortillas at a time, cover the warm tortillas with foil to retain their heat.

    Specific ingredient information:

Flour Tortillas - For this recipe, I chose to use the large 10" burrito-sized flour tortillas. Once warmed slightly, the flour tortillas will bend and fold easily around the chicken Caesar salad filling without ripping or forming holes.

Feel free to use smaller flour tortillas to make smaller wraps. if desired.

Cooked Chicken - Rotisserie chicken is great for this recipe. Remove the meat (dark, white, or both, if you prefer) from the chicken, then carefully chop it (removing the skin, if you prefer) into bite-sized pieces.

You'll need approximately 2 cups of chopped, cooked chicken for this recipe as written.

Romaine Lettuce - Being a very hearty lettuce with thick ribs and large leaves, romaine lettuce will retain its crunch and texture when used in these salad wraps for several days.

After washing and thoroughly drying the lettuce, you can easily chop it into bite-sized pieces (easier for filling and eating a salad wrap) using almost the entire elongated head, but be sure to discard the entirely white portion of the lettuce, which is roughly 1-2 inches from the stem end.

Caesar Dressing - If you have a favorite homemade Caesar dressing recipe you'd like to use, by all means use it.

However, your favorite brand of bottled Caesar dressing will work wonderfully well for these quick Caesar salad wraps. Not to mention that using bottled dressing keeps the prep time for this easy sandwich recipe to a minimum.

Parmesan Cheese - A vital ingredient (IMHO) for achieving an authentic Caesar salad flavor, so don't skimp on this ingredient.

I used grated Parmesan, but shredded Parmesan cheese will work great too. Use this particular ingredient with abandon, and measure with your heart if you feel so inclined.

Red Onion - The occasional sweet bite of diced red onion in these wraps adds a delicious extra pop of flavor, balancing and brightening the wraps. The addition of red onion is both surprising, tantalizing, and irresistible.

Garlic Powder - Since I add garlic to almost every savory dish I create, this one particular chicken tortilla wrap is no exception.

This ingredient is optional; if you prefer not to use it, feel free to add more than the recipe calls for.

Black Pepper - I always like to use freshly cracked black pepper for the very best flavor, and recommend you do the same if you can.

Kosher Salt - Kosher salt is my go-to salt for almost everything. Cooking and baking. However, if all you have available to you is iodized table salt, you can certainly use it.

Just make sure to take special note of the important note in the gray box below before proceeding with table salt.

    Save this for later.

We'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later!

Email forwarding service for saving information.

*Important Note—If using table salt instead of kosher salt, please cut back on the amount of salt called for in the recipe card by half because they measure differently due to grain size.

    Kitchen tools and equipment needed:

    • mixing bowls
    • chef's knife
    • cutting board
    • spatula or wooden spoon
    • cheese grater (optional, if not using pre grated Parmesan cheese)
    • measuring cups and spoons
    • aluminum foil or plastic wrap (for storing wraps in the fridge)
A chicken Caesar salad wrap in a flour tortilla on a sheet of foil.

How to store chicken Caesar salad wraps?

Once the wraps are complete, tightly roll each one individually in a sheet of aluminum foil or plastic wrap, and store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

    Add-in and swap-out suggestions:

    Add-in suggestions:

    • chopped, pitted olives
    • shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby, Swiss, Mozzarella)
    • croutons
    • hard cooked eggs
    • crumbled bacon
    • chopped pecans (or other nuts)
    • anchovy paste
    • avocado slices
    • peas
    • hot sauce

    Swap-out suggestions:

    • iceberg lettuce for the romaine
    • scallions for the red onion
    • soft corn tortillas for the flour tortillas
    • diced salami, ham, or turkey for the chopped chicken
    • smoked paprika for the garlic powder
    • ranch dressing (or any other variety dressing) for the Caesar dressing

When is the best time to serve chicken Caesar salad wraps?

You can easily pack them (wrapped well) in a lunchbox or picnic basket with ice packs to keep them chilled.

Serve them out by the pool for a quick, easy lunch for the kiddos and you.

Bring them camping to eat by the bonfire for dinner, or stash them in a cooler to bring fishing.

Headed to an amusement park, but don't want to pay amusement park food prices? Pack up a bunch of these babies, and everyone's fed, happy, and ready for more fun!

Are you a golfer? Stash a few in a small cooler, and lunch on the course is ready when you are!

How and where will you serve yours? I'd love to know!! Comment below and let me know. I love reading all the comments and suggestions!

Let's make it a complete meal:

Cucumber Dill Dip is so flavor-packed that it will keep you coming back for more. It's big, bold flavor pairs well with chips, crackers, vegetables, and your favorite beverage!

Crowd-Pleasing Dijon Potato Salad will be the first thing to disappear from the picnic table this summer. It's cool, creamy, and refreshing with just the right amount of tang from the Dijon, and the perfect amount of crunch to balance all that creaminess.

Italian Shell Pasta Salad with mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes comes together quickly with store-bought bottled Italian dressing. It's wonderful as a chilled side dish or a vegetarian main course.

Sun Tea with Peach and Raspberry is not your ordinary tea. It's deliciously refreshing with a light sweetness from a cilantro simple syrup.

Pink Lemonade Cookies are perfect in every way for any summer party or colorful celebration.

When you make today's recipe (and I hope that you will), I'd appreciate it if you'd take the time to come back and give it a star rating along with a comment on why you rated as you did.

Search engines such as Google appreciate comments and ratings and, in turn, will show my recipes to more people. Please look for the pink star rating box within the printable recipe card. Thank you!!
