Can over-easy eggs be made in an air fryer?
I believe so, yes.
Just make sure you keep your temperature low (350 degrees) and check on your egg pretty consistently while they're cooking until your desired doneness is achieved.
How long does it take to make a fried egg in the air fryer?
For over-hard fried eggs, I cooked mine for approximately 8 minutes with no flipping required.
For cooking over-easy eggs, the cooking time will be less.
Can I use oil instead of butter to fry eggs?
Yes! Using oil is a great option for frying eggs.
What is the best oil to use for frying eggs?
My favorite oil of choice for making fried eggs is a good quality olive oil.
Other good oil choices for frying eggs is avocado oil, peanut oil, safflower oil, vegetable oil, canola oil, and don't forget the ever-popular bacon grease!
Why fry eggs in an air fryer?
There are many reasons.
1. You won't heat up the kitchen or yourself by standing at the stovetop.
2. You don't have to work with an open flame if you have a gas stovetop.
3. You probably have an air fryer so why not use it?
4. It's fun.
What type of aluminum pan works best in an air fryer?
I like lightweight disposable ones.
They can be bent (if needed) to conform to the shape of your particular air fryer.
They can also be washed (if desired) and reused, time and again. Or, they can be disposed of after use. Your call.

I bought a Power XL Air Fryer Grill and it came with a pan to make eggs, however there are no instructions. What setting? What temp? How much time? Can you help/
Renée says
Hi, Bob.
If you go to the recipe card it will give you that information.
You may need to adjust the cooking time depending on the doneness of the eggs you desire.
Take good care,
Renee

Hi, so I have a no stick pan that fits in my air fryer. Could I use that and not use oil or butter to cook my fried eggs?
Renée says
I would say yes! I use the butter (or oil) for extra flavor, but if you don't want the extra calories, skip it.
Take good care, Donna!

I actually "air-fried" one egg to place on top of my English muffin by putting one egg in a small Ramiken that had been spread with a little butter (can be a soft spread version or a spray butter version) and then put about 1/4 cup of water in the bottom to keep the egg a bit moist. I placed it in the air fryer for about 6-7 minutes in the air fryer with a temperature of 380. When I opened the air fryer again, the top of the egg had crisped nicely while the bottom was not crisped but was cooked (medium). I then took the egg and placed it on one of the English muffins with the crispy side down and seasoned the egg with salt and pepper. A version of an Egg McMuffin, but made without cheese and with light English muffins. Delicious!
