This Blackberry Smoothie Recipe will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated after your very first sip. It's delicious and SO good for you!!

Blackberry, Blueberry and Mint Beauty Water Recipe via Kudos Kitchen By Renee

*Disclaimer - This recipe was originally published in 2014. I'm working hard to update all my older recipes with recipe cards, new photos, and additional recipe information. But, getting to all of them will take time. Please bear with me. In the meantime let me assure you that this recipe is still a winner and one I'm sure you'll be well pleased with when you make it at home.

Are you looking for a drink that will super hydrate your body, and has a wonderful flavor along with superb antioxidant protection? If so, then you must try my recipe for Blackberry, Blueberry, and Mint Beauty Water.

From the moment you take your first sip of this wonderfully purple beauty water, you'll feel yourself getting younger, your skin will start glowing, and you'll have boundless energy to get you through your day. Seems like a tall claim, doesn't it? Just check out these health benefits of all the ingredients and you'll think differently.

Coconut water -  Coconut water contains cytokines and lauric acid, the two important elements which are used in the process of cell growth and their regulation. It has significant anti-aging, anti-carcinogenic and anti-thrombotic properties which help to minimize skin aging, balance PH levels, and keeps the connective tissue hydrated and strong.

Blackberries - A cup of raw blackberries has 62 calories, less than a gram of fat, 2 grams of protein, no cholesterol, and only 1 gram of sodium. It also gives you 7.6 grams of fiber, more fiber than a cup of bran flakes, which provide 7 grams. If you are trying to lose weight, blackberries can give you quick energy, and their fiber content can help you stay full until your next meal, preventing you from wanting to snack on more fattening foods.

Blueberries - Neutralizes free radicals which can affect disease and aging in the body: Blue Berries bring you the brightest ray of hope, for they are laden with antioxidants and rank number 1 in the world of antioxidants. This is mainly due to the presence of Anthocyanin, a pigment responsible for the blue color of the blueberries. The abundance of vitamin C is also a big factor in this as well.

    Save this for later.

Lime Juice -  Lime juice in cold water is a great and refreshing drink, which not only promotes weight loss but cools you down significantly more so than a regular bottle of water would! While being a fat burner, lime juice is also an excellent anti-oxidant. This helps your quest of losing weight by removing the toxins in your body and keeping you squeaky clean and ultimately feeling better overall.

Mint - Mint helps soothe the digestive tract if you are having stomach aches. Drinking herbal mint tea reduces irritated bowel syndromes, cleanses the stomach, and also clears up skin disorders such as acne. Mint acts as a cooling sensation on the skin and helps in dealing with skin irritations. Mint helps in eliminating toxins from the body. Crushed mint leaves help in whitening teeth and combat bad breath. Mint is a very good cleanser for the blood.
