    Spicy Maple Syrup Chicken

    *Disclaimer - This recipe was originally published in 2014. I'm working hard to update all my older recipes with recipe cards, new photos, and additional recipe information. But, getting to all of them will take time. Please bear with me. In the meantime let me assure you that this recipe is still a winner and one I'm sure you'll be well pleased with when you make it at home.



    I've made this Asian-insired chicken dish a few times over the past couple of weeks. We can't seem to get enough of the flavor of this versatile sauce.


    I urge you to try this 5 ingredient sauce on pork and shrimp as well as chicken, especially as we move into BBQ season.

    Sticky Spicy Maple Syrup Chicken Recipe / Kudos Kitchen by Renee

    STICKY SPICY MAPLE SYRUP CHICKEN    {PRINT THIS RECIPE}
    Servings:  6-8         Prep Time: 5 minutes         Cook Time: 40 minutes

    ½ cup pure maple syrup
    3 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
    2 tablespoons minced garlic
    3 tablespoons brown sugar
    1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
    10-12 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
    Salt and pepper to taste

    -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    -Whisk together the first 5 ingredients in a medium-size bowl.
    -Place the chicken in a 9x13 baking pan. Season with salt and pepper.
    -Brush the chicken evenly with half of the sauce. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove and brush the chicken again with the remaining sauce. Continue baking for an additional 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through, and the juices run clear when pierced with a knife.
    -Serve.
