These Cap'n Crunch Cereal Bars will hit all the right bells and whistles on your taste buds and they're so easy to make too!!

No Bake Cap'n Crunch Cereal Bars Recipe

*Disclaimer - This recipe was originally published in 2013. I'm working hard to update all my older recipes with recipe cards, new photos, and additional recipe information. But, getting to all of them will take time. Please bear with me. In the meantime let me assure you that this recipe is still a winner and one I'm sure you'll be well pleased with when you make it at home.

Do you watch "The Chew" on ABC? I do, and have ever since it debuted and took the place of the long-running soap, "All My Children".

I love watching "The Chew" and just the other day there was an episode where Clinton Kelly and Carla Hall were stating that Cap'n Crunch cereal is (in their opinion) the best cereal ever! This got me thinking...

I've not had Cap'n Crunch in like, forever but I'll bet it would be tasty worked into a marshmallow cereal bar with all sorts of other delicious ingredients....hmmmmm....note to self.

    SWEET AND SALTY CAP'N CRUNCH BARS      {PRINT THIS RECIPE}

    1 stick butter
    2 tablespoons coconut oil
    16 ounces mini marshmallows
    1 cup peanut butter
12 ounces Cap'n Crunch cereal (original flavor)
    6 ounces pretzels, crushed
    5 ounces roasted, salted peanuts
    7 ounces dark chocolate chips
    2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

-In a large stockpot over medium heat, melt the butter and the coconut oil.
-Add in the mini marshmallow and stir occasionally until the marshmallows are melted.
-Add in the peanut butter and stir to combine.
-Lower the heat to low and stir in the cereal, crushed pretzels, and peanuts.
-Stir well with a wooden spoon to combine all the ingredients.
-Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips and the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
-Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 pan and press it (using the back of a spatula) into an even layer.
-Allow to cool completely and then cut into bars for serving.

I think Clinton and Carla would be thrilled with these. They ARE quite amazing if I do say so myself!!  🙂

Love how you finished off the base of the Grumpy Cat cup! I've never had Captain Crunch cereal but I'm willing to jump in and give these bars a try!
