The ingredient list:
Can agave syrup be substituted for the confectioner's sugar in this cocktail?
You bet! I'd start with a small amount first and then add additional to suit your taste.
Can a low-sugar berry juice be used for this recipe?
Yes! If you'd like to keep the calorie count low, that's a great way to do so.
*Disclaimer - This recipe was originally published in 2014. I'm working hard to update all my older recipes with recipe cards, new photos, and additional recipe information. But, getting to all of them will take time. Please bear with me. In the meantime, let me assure you that this recipe is still a winner and one I'm sure you'll be well pleased with when you make it at home.
Can other flavors of juice be used in place of the mixed berry?
Of course. Use your favorite!
How many cocktails does this recipe make?
This recipe is written for making one, large Margarita. It's completely easy to double, triple, or to even fill a pitcher.
To make just one, I suggest using a cocktail shaker.
If you're making an entire pitcher you can mix the ingredients straight into the pitcher itself, and let it chill in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve.
How many ounces is a jigger?
A standard jigger is 1.5 ounces.
What is triple sec?
Triple sec is an orange-flavored liquor.
What is a good substitution for triple sec?
Cointreau and Grand Marnier are two wonderful substitutions for triple sec.

I made a few pitchers of these Margarita's last Christmas Eve, and they were a huge hit. I'd not shared the recipe at that time so now, for National Margarita Day (February 22, 2014), it's time!!!
