Winter Chopped Salad is a lovely combination of sweet and savory ingredients. Pears, cranberries, pecans, blue cheese, and bacon...just to name a few. What's not to love?
*Disclaimer - This recipe was originally published in 2011. I'm working hard to update all my older recipes with recipe cards, new photos, and additional recipe information. But, getting to all of them will take time. Please bear with me. In the meantime let me assure you that this recipe is still a winner and one I'm sure you'll be well pleased with when you make it at home.
I mixed up a light vinaigrette to top the salad just prior to serving and the results were even better than I had imagined.
That alone speaks volumes of how delicious this chopped salad is. Plus, just look at all these fantastic colors...

I've made these same tweaks myself! Glad you enjoyed the salad. I add grilled chicken to it sometimes too. It's a keeper! Your pics are nicer than mine, I'll have to make it again so I can take some more colorful ones. 🙂

I love chopped salads! I make them at home all the time. I love how this one uses dried fruit, I don't typically do that.
