Chocolate Caramel Turtle Fudge
Old-fashioned Chocolate Caramel Turtle Fudge is a real winner in my book. It's fudgy, chewy, and requires only 15 minutes to make.

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 7 ounces individually wrapped caramels approximately 20 pieces
- 1 cup chopped pecans plus additional for topping (if desired)
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter I used salted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Line the baking dish with aluminum foil and spray with baking spray. Set aside.
Unwrap the caramels and set aside.
Place the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in the saucepan.
Melt the chocolate, stirring frequently, over medium low heat.
Once melted and smooth, remove the chocolate from the heat.
Stir the butter, vanilla, salt and pecans into the chocolate.
When cooled slightly, but not yet firming, stir the caramels into the fudge.
Add the fudge into the prepared baking dish and smooth the fudge evenly in the pan.
Press additional pecans into the top of the fudge (if desired)
Chill the fudge for at least 30 minutes.
Use the foil to life the fudge out of the pan, peel back the foil and cut into squares.
