Ingredients

butter
softened

granulated sugar

packed brown sugar

eggs
at room temperature

teaspoons
pure vanilla extract

all-purpose flour

teaspoon
baking soda

teaspoon
salt

cups
quick-cook oats
2
cups
cinnamon imperials candy
(aka red hots)
Instructions
-Preheat oven to 350-degrees Fahrenheit.
-In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars.
-Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and add the vanilla.
-Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and oats until just combined.
-Stir in the cinnamon candies.
-Drop the dough by rounded tablespoons onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
-Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned.
-Remove to a baking rack to cool completely.
Notes
Can be frozen in an air-tight container for up to 3 months.
