KOOL-AID PIE with CREAM CHEESE

This no-bake cool and creamy Kool-Aid Pie with Cream Cheese takes only moments to prepare, and everyone loves it! It's the perfect summertime dessert!!

Ingredients

  • 1 deep dish prepared graham cracker pie crust
  • 2 packages (.15 ounces, each) unsweetened orange flavored Kool-Aid
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • ¾ cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 container (16 ounces) prepared whipped topping
  • 1 container (8 ounces) prepared whipped topping,
  • 1 teaspoon fresh orange zest plus additional for garnish on top

Instructions

  • In a large bowl blend together the room temperature cream cheese, the two packages of Kool-Aid, vanilla extract, orange zest, and the confectioners sugar until creamy.
  • Use a spatula to gently fold the 16 ounce container of whipped topping into the Kool-Aid and cream cheese mixture until no white streaks are visible. This will take a few minutes so be patient.
  • Spoon the filling into the prepared graham cracker pie shell and use a spatula to smooth into an even layer.
  • Spoon the smaller container of whipped topping over the cream cheese layer swirl or smooth it as you like.
  • Garnish the top of the pie with additional orange zest (if desired). Cover loosely and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers loosely covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
Kool-Aid flavors may be substituted to your preference.
