Ingredients

  • 1 15.5 ounce can black eyed peas, drained and rinsed
  • ¾ cup prepared salsa
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons minced red onion
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • ½ teaspoon roasted ground cumin
  • pinch salt
  • pinch black pepper
  • tortilla chips pita chips, or crackers for serving

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients into a medium sized bowl and stir to combine.
  • Serve at room temperature or chilled along with tortilla chips or pita chips for dipping.
