Golden Statue Prosecco Cocktail

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 8-10 chunks of frozen pineapple
  • 2 ounces amaretto liquor
  • 4 ounces pineapple juice
  • prosecco Italian sparkling wine
  • 2 champagne flutes
  • 2 small bowls or plates
Instructions
  1. Dip the rim of each champagne flute into the honey and then into the granulated sugar. Allow to dry for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Place about 3-4 frozen pineapple chunks into the bottom of each glass.
  3. Add approximately 1 ounce of amaretto to each glass.
  4. Add approximately 2 ounces of pineapple juice to each glass.
  5. Top each glass with prosecco.
  6. Place a pineapple chunk of the rim of each glass (if desired), and serve.
