Creamy Salami and Dill Pickle Dip

One of my favorite appetizers I remember from years ago is the one where you spread cream cheese over slices of salami with dill pickle spears rolled inside, and then you slice them to form little pinwheels.

The concept was super simple, and the flavor of those tasty morsels hit all the proper bells and whistles on the taste buds. I loved them then, and I still do now. However, this Cream Cheese Salami Spread with Dill Pickles is better and a whole lot easier. Honest!

How To Make A Healthy Edible Necklace For Back To School

Imagine the delight on your child’s face when they pull this healthy edible necklace from their school lunchbox! Not only will they be surprised and amazed, but they’ll also probably be the talk of the lunch table among all their friends (in the best way, of course).

You can call this fun, and unique treat an edible necklace, but for me, I like to call it a healthy edible neckLUNCH! LOL Get it?

Easy Weeknight Pepperoni Pizza Macaroni & Cheese

The thing I like most about this recipe (other than all the CHEESE), is how easy it is to make this recipe on a busy weeknight.

By cooking the pasta while the vegetables are sauteing and the cheese sauce thickens, this Pepperoni Pizza Macaroni & Cheese can be on the dinner table in less time than it takes to order from your favorite take-out place.

Shortcut Raspberry Spice Monkey Bread

One of my very favorite convenience foods in the grocery store are the tube biscuits you find in the refrigerated section. You know the ones. They’re the little devils that, even though you know the “pop” is coming when the seal on the tube is released, somehow you’re still startled when it does. It happens to me every single time. LOL

Slow Cooker Homestyle Apple Pear Sauce with Amaretto

You guys, it’s apple season! Can you feel the slight chill in the air and the warm scent of cinnamon that is just about everywhere? Yeah, me either but I’m hopeful that it will happen soon. Even though it’s September, today in Illinois where I live the temperatures are supposed to be in the 90’s with a heat index in the 100’s. UGH! Oh well. Since there’s nothing I can do about the outside temperatures, I might as well make it feel like fall on the inside and cook up a batch of Slow Cooker Homestyle Apple Pear Sauce with Amaretto.

Italian Layered Zucchini Parmesan

With zucchinis still being so prevalent in the grocery store, and in home gardens and farmer’s markets, I wanted to come up with a recipe that marries the idea of eggplant Parmesan, and pizza, but with using summer squash as a replacement for the eggplant. I think I hit the nail right on the head with this recipe for Italian Layered Zucchini Parmesan! Try it, and you be the judge.
