If you’d like to up the chocolate ante of this bread (nice, but certainly not necessary), feel free to add some semi-sweet chocolate chips to the batter before baking. And, as I’m always prone to do (but didn’t do this time), tossing in some chopped toasted nuts is never a bad thing in my book. But, if you’re giving it as a gift, sometimes the simpler the better.
I adore giving homemade bread as gifts and have always given my mom and dad homemade bread for their anniversary. I started doing it when I was a teenager, way back in the stone age.
You’ll completely fall in “love” (ALOHA) with the combination of flavors in these tropical oatmeal cookies!
Simply THE BEST oatmeal cookie I’ve ever had! My family gives this ALOHA Tropical Oatmeal Cookie a unanimous 2 thumbs up! If that’s not a “present” (ALOHA) to a mom, I don’t know what is!
