If you're looking to pack your proteins with more flavor this grilling season, might I suggest using this delicious Dry Rub on your meat and poultry?

*Disclaimer - This recipe was originally published in 2014. I'm working hard to update all my older recipes with recipe cards, new photos, and additional recipe information. But, getting to all of them will take time. Please bear with me. In the meantime let me assure you that this recipe is still a winner and one I'm sure you'll be well pleased with when you make it at home.

You can whip up a dry rub in a matter of minutes, and they keep well in the pantry in an airtight container for months and months.

This is my quick go-to dry rub recipe that works well on all sorts of beef, pork, lamb, and even poultry.

Today I'm showing it to you on some boneless short ribs and the flavor is out-of-this-world mouthwatering! Just as a heads-up, this dry rub will knock your socks off so you may want to mix up a double batch so you'll always have it on hand this summer season.

I am totally wishing I had some of these shortribs for my lunch right about now, because that rub totally does sound delicious. Love the fact that you've used smoked paprika for an extra touch of smoke!
