I’m updating this recipe for Old-Fashioned Grated Sweet Potato Pudding which I originally posted back in October of 2011. I’ve added new photos, a fun, and fast-paced video, plus a printable recipe card for your ease of use, and enjoyment.
You may say to yourself after reading the ingredient list “Hey!” “What in the world is ground cinnamon and cocoa powder doing in a savory recipe like this?” “And what about the butter and lime juice?” “She has really gone off the deep end with this recipe!” “Has Renee lost her mind?!!”
And my answer would be…Well. Maybe. But not about this recipe.
I haven’t shared a breakfast pizza recipe in quite a few years, so I thought it was time to come up with something new. The last one I shared, I called Easy Breakfast Pizza, and it dates back to 2011. This new recipe I call Sunny Side Up Hash Brown Breakfast Pizza uses pop-tube crescent rolls, frozen shredded hash browns, American cheese slices, eggs, diced ham, and chopped scallions for garnish.
There is nothing quite like bringing the family around the #SundaySupper dinner table with something comforting and delicious.
With only a few minutes of preparation, you can enjoy the wonderfully tempting aroma of this Best Ever Dutch Oven Braised Pot Roast for hours as it cooks in the oven with minimal ingredients. For me, that’s one of the best parts of an oven braised meal! The anticipation!!
I found the recipe for sweet potato cookies in a small Amish pamphlet cookbook while visiting the gift shop in the St. Louis capital building around this same time last year. I tweaked the recipe only slightly here and there. I omitted the nuts, substituted allspice for ground cloves, and increased the brown sugar by half.
One-Pan Italian Sausage, Fennel & Potatoes is a simply delicious, no fuss dinner! You can cook it on the grill, or in the oven. Either way you make it, you’re going to love the easy clean up and the perfect combination of flavors!
I’ve made mashed tropical sweet potatoes before but have never added them back into their shells. I’m not sure why it took me so long to do it, because these Twice Baked Sweet Potato Boats with a Tropical Touch are a fun way to feast your eyes, as well as your taste buds!
There are so many terrific convenience products in the grocery store, and as I’ve always been drawn to the produce department in particular, some of my favorite products are from a company called Gourmet Garden. The recipe I’m sharing today for Roasted Red Potatoes with Lemongrass, Garlic & Cilantro takes advantage of two of their products.
This One Pan Ponzu Pork Chop Dinner is a sure-fire family pleaser which takes only minutes to prepare. You’ll only need a vegetable peeler and chef’s knife to prepare and slice the apples, onions, and sweet potatoes. Then the majority of the work is done by the oven while you go relax for 40 minutes until dinner is wonderfully caramelized and ready to serve. Easy peasy, pork chop pleasy! 🙂
Move over plain old mashed potatoes! These Fall Festival Pumpkin Mashed Potatoes are sure to become a new family favorite!!
