I’m not usually one for dessert after dinner, nor do I have a large sweet tooth. However, I’m a complete sucker for anything with coconut and pecans, so a small slice of this Chocolate Chop Dessert Loaf with Coconut and Pecans is definitely one of my favorite after dinner treats.
Before I delve too far into this recipe I need to tell you that this Strawberry Banana Bread tastes great with, or without, the nuts. If you’re not a fan of almonds (or nuts in general), you are by all means welcome to leave them out of this recipe entirely. I promise I won’t tell, and you’ll still enjoy the flavor of this deliciously easy bread. However, you’re a fan of nuts, then by all means…add them. The texture and crunch they provide are a nice contrast to this super moist bread.

While I do like to bake from scratch a lot, there are times when using pre-made store-bought items fits the bill as far as time is concerned. So is the case with this Grilled Pineapple Pound Cake. It’s an utterly delicious, easy, and impressive dessert you’ll be proud to serve.
There is something so intoxicating about fresh, summertime nectarines. Hold one up to your nose and take a big, long sniff. There, that’s what summer is all about, and that’s exactly how this nectarine upside-down cake tastes. Like summertime. In cake form. – Kudos Kitchen by Renee
Beyond the flavor of these bars, what you’re really going to love is how fast and easy they are to assemble, and bake. There is no electric mixer required and the ingredients are basic refrigerator and pantry staples such as flour, sugar, butter, eggs, strawberry jam and a handful of fresh strawberries. These bars are so easy to make that even a novice baker can turn these out like a pro, and then stand back and take a big bow because you’ll be hearing some applause.

This cake is one for celebrations! I recently made this for a friend who was just finishing up some invasive medical procedures, and who needed to celebrate in a big way!
I’ve only become a rhubarb fan over the past few years. Before that, I ‘thought’ I didn’t like it because I’d heard it was sour and bitter. Oh, how wrong I was! And, now that I know better I like to take full advantage of rhubarb season as often as I can with desserts like this!
