I decided I’d like to make this bread a little less sweet than what the local bakery sells in order to really let the flavor of summer cherries shine. The result is this beautiful (and healthier) cherry yeast bread that is perfect on its own or slathered with butter. Is it so wrong? LOL
I also double dog dare you to take the Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread challenge. After your first bite, if you’re not convinced that this is the best banana bread you’ve ever eaten, you can bring it to my house and I’ll take it off your hands and eat it for you! LOL
Of all the convenience foods in the market the pop-tube biscuits, crescent dough, in particular, is my favorite. For this recipe of Sweet Streusel Strawberry Crescent Muffins, I used two tubes of crescent dough sheets and then sprinkled them with a mixture of Dixie Crystals granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and lots of chopped, fresh, strawberries.
The result is a deliciously tempting muffin that’s perfect for any #BrunchWeek celebration, and/or to serve mom for Mother’s Day!
Imagine biting into a crispy and slightly sweet piece of French toast only to be surprised and delighted it’s been filled with a sweet cream cheese and blueberry spread, tender slices of ham and turkey in addition to some gooey melted cheddar cheese. Heaven, right? You bet! This recipe original for Monte Cristo Blueberry Stuffed French Toast I developed for #BrunchWeek 2018 is everything I’d hoped it would be…and more!
When I know I’m going to indulge in a decadent weekend brunch with all of my favorite foods; I like to start the meal off with a bit of pineapple. I’ve heard that pineapple helps melt away belly fat, but don’t quote me on that, because it’s not really true!
However, since I like to *THINK* it may be true I’ve convinced myself that it’s a great way to kick off #BrunchWeek and that maybe all those other calories to follow won’t actually count. Ha! Ha!
In the open, I called this a dessert. But if truth be told I came up with this recipe idea for Eggnog Pastry Cream Filled Croissants last Christmas and served them for our annual Christmas brunch, not a dessert. However, this year when I made them again, I served them for dessert. Whichever way you decide to serve them is up to you. The important thing is that you do!
I can hardly believe that this is the last post for #BaconMonth 2017. I’ve had a ton of fun participating with this group of 9 food bloggers as we’ve all come up with our own unique recipes that feature bacon as the star ingredient.

Because I didn’t want to pitch the entire batch of muffins (and I was hoping that I could still share the recipe with you), I scraped them out of the pan the best I could, flipped them right-side up and decided to make some caramel sauce to spoon over the top. As you can see, the few extra minutes it took to make the caramel sauce was well worth the effort, and now these Homemade Sticky Caramel Sweet Rolls have a double dose of sticky caramel goodness, which is never a bad thing!
Cool, refreshing and a little kicked up! This Boozy Fruit Cocktail is the perfect summer dessert for the over 21 […]
