I also double dog dare you to take the Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread challenge. After your first bite, if you’re not convinced that this is the best banana bread you’ve ever eaten, you can bring it to my house and I’ll take it off your hands and eat it for you! LOL
Breakfast & Brunch
I’m trying to do more and more low-carb cooking since it’s the eating plan my family and I have decided to implement in our busy lifestyle.
Because of that, I’ve developed this recipe for Keto Creamed Spinach Casserole which has an incredibly cheesy flavor, and it’s deliciously satisfying and satiating.
I’m always excited to have brunch, and I almost always gravitate towards the savory dishes, and not so much the sweet. This dish of Buttery Rich Steak & Eggs Over Asparagus is everything my brunch dreams are made!
Of all the convenience foods in the market the pop-tube biscuits, crescent dough, in particular, is my favorite. For this recipe of Sweet Streusel Strawberry Crescent Muffins, I used two tubes of crescent dough sheets and then sprinkled them with a mixture of Dixie Crystals granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and lots of chopped, fresh, strawberries.
The result is a deliciously tempting muffin that’s perfect for any #BrunchWeek celebration, and/or to serve mom for Mother’s Day!
Imagine biting into a crispy and slightly sweet piece of French toast only to be surprised and delighted it’s been filled with a sweet cream cheese and blueberry spread, tender slices of ham and turkey in addition to some gooey melted cheddar cheese. Heaven, right? You bet! This recipe original for Monte Cristo Blueberry Stuffed French Toast I developed for #BrunchWeek 2018 is everything I’d hoped it would be…and more!
Brunch. My favorite. Especially when there are these Canadian Bacon, Egg & Asparagus Breakfast Quesadillas on the menu. Join me, […]
When I know I’m going to indulge in a decadent weekend brunch with all of my favorite foods; I like to start the meal off with a bit of pineapple. I’ve heard that pineapple helps melt away belly fat, but don’t quote me on that, because it’s not really true!
However, since I like to *THINK* it may be true I’ve convinced myself that it’s a great way to kick off #BrunchWeek and that maybe all those other calories to follow won’t actually count. Ha! Ha!
For a while now I’ve been noticing that egg cups and eggs baked in muffin tins have become all the rage. It was after watching a particular video on Facebook that I decided to make my own. The difference you may notice in mine is that I added quinoa to the mix because I’d had some leftover in the fridge and I thought it would be a tasty (and healthy) addition to an already tasty and healthy breakfast option. May I now introduce Healthy Quinoa Veggie Egg White Cups for your eating enjoyment!
The thing I enjoy the most about these easy Beer Bread Biscuits is how quickly they come together. From the time you decide to make them, from the time you can actually eat one (or more) is roughly one hour, and that’s simply because I don’t want you to burn your mouth on a too hot biscuit. Safety first, kids. LOL
If you’ve never made scones before you’re going to be thrilled with how easy they are to whip together. With basically one bowl and a wooden spoon or spatula, you’ll have your Blueberry Lemon Scones ready for the oven in no time at all.
