Homemade Beignets for Mardi Gras

Have you ever been to New Orleans? I have not, but it’s on my bucket list of places I want to visit. I hear the food is amazing, the people are fun, and the culture needs to be experienced at least once.

But, until I get there in person making homemade beignets for Mardi Gras is a good way to get the party started!

Best Easy Homemade Orange Curd

I’ve been craving oranges – a lot! I don’t know if it’s a need to replenish vitamin C in my body, or if it’s because I’m craving warmer temperatures during this arctic blast we’ve been experiencing here in the Midwest.

Whatever the reason, this easy to make thick and tangy homemade orange curd cures my craving for oranges and satisfies my sweet tooth in an utterly delicious, and completely versatile, way!

Easy Make-Ahead Christmas Morning Croissant Apple Breakfast Bake

As you can see from the photos and title, I’m featuring this recipe as a holiday treat. However, the first time I served this amazing breakfast casserole was in the summer when we vacationed with my husband’s family in Northern Wisconsin.

Even though I’ve named this recipe; Easy Make-Ahead Christmas Morning Croissant Apple Breakfast Bake, please make sure you make it throughout the entire year. It’s so good you won’t want to limit it just to the holidays! 😉
