Before I started baking, I was a little intimidated to tackle this traditional German Bee Sting Cake. Our BFF’s have been to Germany many times over the years, and they’ve spoken so highly of this cake I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to do it justice. Since I was gifting this cake to them for the many thoughtful acts they’ve done for us in the past, I especially wanted this cake to be amazing!
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Filled Eclairs may look intimidating to make, but trust me, they’re not! As long as you follow a few simple steps, you’ll be noshing on one (may two) of these beauties in no time for #SummerDessertWeek
There was a time, not all that long ago, when I used to bake a decorate sugar cookies almost every day. That was about 10 years ago when I ran a small home based cookie business called Kudos Kookies. Notice anything familiar about the name? 😉
Now I only bake and decorate sugar cookies when I’m really in the mood, and when there is a special occasion. For me, Memorial Day and the 4th of July are just the types of special occasions which call for patriotic cookies. Especially when they’re these fun American Flag Heart Decorated Sugar Cookies.
I also double dog dare you to take the Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread challenge. After your first bite, if you’re not convinced that this is the best banana bread you’ve ever eaten, you can bring it to my house and I’ll take it off your hands and eat it for you! LOL
There is something comforting and charmingly and old-fashioned about a crumble or crisp. It’s like a dessert-hug grandma would have made for Sunday dinner when the family was coming over.
I think any grandma would be proud and pleased to place this Berry Fresh Blueberry Peach Crisp on the dinner table in front of the family. And hopefully, someday I’ll be that grandma. *wink*
I’m going to be perfectly honest with you here (as I always am). This recipe idea for Strawberry Orange Pie Cake is not my own. I saw it in one of my back issues of Food Network Magazine and thought it looked like something I wanted to try. I did, however, adapt the recipe ingredients and also put my own touch on the lattice pie crust topping with those cute little strawberry accents to up the cuteness factor.
The thing I enjoy the most about these easy Beer Bread Biscuits is how quickly they come together. From the time you decide to make them, from the time you can actually eat one (or more) is roughly one hour, and that’s simply because I don’t want you to burn your mouth on a too hot biscuit. Safety first, kids. LOL
If you’ve never made scones before you’re going to be thrilled with how easy they are to whip together. With basically one bowl and a wooden spoon or spatula, you’ll have your Blueberry Lemon Scones ready for the oven in no time at all.
I dressed these Cream Cheese Cookies in red for Valentine’s Day, but you can dress them in any color you like, or even leave them plain. The choice is yours. All I suggest is that you make them right away because they’ll soon become your go-to favorite cookie! Crunchy and creamy! Oh yeah!!!
When we got married, and Mark and I started our own family, there were certain traditions I wanted to continue from when I was a little girl and hopefully pass along to our two boys. These cookies were one of the things I incorporated throughout the years to fondly rekindle my joyous Christmas memories. I am happy to report that our boys (now grown) feel exactly the same way about these cookies as I did, and still do to this day. Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without Santa’s Favorite Sugar Cookies.
