I’m not usually one for dessert after dinner, nor do I have a large sweet tooth. However, I’m a complete sucker for anything with coconut and pecans, so a small slice of this Chocolate Chop Dessert Loaf with Coconut and Pecans is definitely one of my favorite after dinner treats.
Because I didn’t want to pitch the entire batch of muffins (and I was hoping that I could still share the recipe with you), I scraped them out of the pan the best I could, flipped them right-side up and decided to make some caramel sauce to spoon over the top. As you can see, the few extra minutes it took to make the caramel sauce was well worth the effort, and now these Homemade Sticky Caramel Sweet Rolls have a double dose of sticky caramel goodness, which is never a bad thing!
Did you know you can have fresh, hot, homemade bread on the dinner table in under an hour, and only about 5 minutes of that time is spent mixing the batter? This Foolproof Italian Herb Parmesan Quick Bread is seriously delicious. It will be a sure-fire hit with your family and friends, and you can make it with ease. Let me show you how!
One of my very favorite convenience foods in the grocery store are the tube biscuits you find in the refrigerated section. You know the ones. They’re the little devils that, even though you know the “pop” is coming when the seal on the tube is released, somehow you’re still startled when it does. It happens to me every single time. LOL
Before I delve too far into this recipe I need to tell you that this Strawberry Banana Bread tastes great with, or without, the nuts. If you’re not a fan of almonds (or nuts in general), you are by all means welcome to leave them out of this recipe entirely. I promise I won’t tell, and you’ll still enjoy the flavor of this deliciously easy bread. However, you’re a fan of nuts, then by all means…add them. The texture and crunch they provide are a nice contrast to this super moist bread.
I can’t seem to stop myself from coming up with fun and unusual ways to utilize pie dough. More times than not I use the store-bought variety to keep things simple, and to keep things less intimidating if you’re new to baking. Today I’m super excited to share with you my easy recipe for Deconstructed Cinnamon Sugar Apple Pie Wedges. I just know you’re going to love them!
I always have so much fun bringing you fun and whimsical food preparation ideas that are as simple to recreate as they are delicious to eat, and serve. Now, with the help of video presentation, bringing you the entire process (from start to finish) of the making and assembling of my Easter Bunny Pie I get to be even more interactive with you which makes it double the fun for me, and hopefully for you too!
The idea for these Gluten Free Maple Bacon Oatmeal Cookies came to me while I was walking down the breakfast aisle of the grocery store. At the time I needed to replenish my stock of quick cooking oats. As I grabbed the oats and tossed them into my cart I glanced the maple syrup that was across the aisle. Right then and there I had my light bulb moment!
