The majority of the recipes you’ll find here on Kudos Kitchen are my own original creations. However, from time to time because of my blog I’m approached by publishing houses about doing cookbook reviews. This post (and the recipe for Healthy Broccoli Salad) is one such review. All the opinions I share are 100% my own.

I can hardly believe that this is the last post for #BaconMonth 2017. I’ve had a ton of fun participating with this group of 9 food bloggers as we’ve all come up with our own unique recipes that feature bacon as the star ingredient.

I’ve created this recipe for a BLT Puff Pastry Tart in honor of #BaconMonth 2017 when tomatoes are at their peak of flavor. The tomatoes make this tart fresh and delicious, but the bacon makes this tart outstanding!!

This easy recipe for Tantalizing Teriyaki Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Chicken calls for only four ingredients. Bacon, teriyaki sauce (mine came with the sesame seeds, you may want to add sesame seeds to your ingredient list if your brand doesn’t include sesame seeds), pineapple rings, and bone-in skinless chicken thighs.

This dish can be made with any type of pasta that is your favorite. I happen to enjoy linguine, and had it in my pantry, so that’s what I used. If you’ve never made your own homemade croutons before I urge you to finally give it a go. The freshness, flavor, and crunch that a homemade crouton provides are about one million percent better than the prepackaged store-bought variety, and they hardly take any time (or effort) to make.
