Appetizers & Snacks
July is National Ice Cream month so it’s only fitting that I get a few ice cream recipes posted before the end of this month. First up is this Lemon No Churn Ice Cream with Blueberries and Malibu Rum, and I do believe you’re going to love it! If you’re a lemon lover (and even if you’re not), this ice cream is perfect for the summer month’s with it’s light and refreshing lemon flavor that isn’t too tart, and isn’t too sweet. It’s absolutely perfect, if I do say so myself! *wink*
If you’re a regular reader of my blog, then you know that I always coordinate my recipe posts with my hand painted glassware and fabric items at the end of each article. With this post, I’ve decided to switch things up by featuring my hand painted popcorn bowl. And, at the end of the post, I’ll be coordinating some of my very favorite snacking recipes which are perfect for “popping” into these bowls. Pun intended. 🙂

Are you like me? Do you like snacks that are packed with flavor and have a satisfying, savory crunch? If so, then these Homemade Crispy Crunchy Everything Bagel Chips need to happen in your kitchen ASAP!
When time is short but you want to whip up something fun and fanciful that everyone will love for that Memorial Day or 4th of July party, why not make up a tray of these Patriotic Red White & Blue Sugared Cherries? And while you’re at it, get the kids involved in the fun. After all, dipping the white chocolate covered cherries in the bright blue sugar is a whole lot of fun for big and little hands alike!
One of my very favorite convenience foods in the grocery store are the tube biscuits you find in the refrigerated section. You know the ones. They’re the little devils that, even though you know the “pop” is coming when the seal on the tube is released, somehow you’re still startled when it does. It happens to me every single time. LOL
This easy Cheesy Mexican Bean Dip can serve double duty as an appetizer or entree if served over cooked chicken, pork, […]
The problem with these Roasted Rosemary Hazelnuts is that once you start eating them, you literally won’t be able to stop! Well, maybe that’s just me. But I did need to make these tasty little tree nuts twice in a matter of only a few days because I couldn’t get enough!
Before I delve too far into this recipe I need to tell you that this Strawberry Banana Bread tastes great with, or without, the nuts. If you’re not a fan of almonds (or nuts in general), you are by all means welcome to leave them out of this recipe entirely. I promise I won’t tell, and you’ll still enjoy the flavor of this deliciously easy bread. However, you’re a fan of nuts, then by all means…add them. The texture and crunch they provide are a nice contrast to this super moist bread.
