This recipe for Garlic Lovers Pork Chops was completely inspired by a trip I’d taken to our local warehouse superstore (aka Costco). During that trip, and on a whim that I picked up one of those mega-sized bags of whole, peeled garlic cloves and tossed it into my cart. While I wasn’t quite sure what I would do with so many peeled garlic cloves (there must have been at least 500 or more cloves of garlic in that bag), my mind was excitedly thinking of all the delicious possibilities!

I can’t seem to stop myself from coming up with fun and unusual ways to utilize pie dough. More times than not I use the store-bought variety to keep things simple, and to keep things less intimidating if you’re new to baking. Today I’m super excited to share with you my easy recipe for Deconstructed Cinnamon Sugar Apple Pie Wedges. I just know you’re going to love them!
Imagine if you will, deeply caramelized onions (cooked in a slow cooker) with red wine, butter, beef broth and thyme until they’re sweet and pungent. The onions are stuffed into large, perfectly cooked pasta shells until they’re practically overflowing. I’ve always been all about the pretzel. Whether it’s a soft, warm pretzel that’s been slathered with yellow mustard, or a large, fragrant, yeasty pretzel bun, which elevates a delicious burger from good, to great! It’s always the pretzel that makes things memorable. Always.
This Turkey Bread Bowl with Creamy Spinach Ranch Dip is an appetizer I brought to my brother and sister-in-law’s house last year when they hosted Thanksgiving. That year, I made him the morning of Thanksgiving and then all year I kept him in the back of my mind so I could bring him to you this year. After all, he’s just too cute (and tasty) not to share with you here.
I can’t seem to get enough of avocados lately. There is something about their smooth and creamy texture that keeps me craving them pretty much on a daily basis, which is why I’ve decided to make and share today’s recipe for Avocado Yeast Bread with Cilantro.
Texas Tater Hash is a twist on a casserole I used to make when I was a new bride. In this updated version I’ve swapped new potatoes for long grain white rice. We like it every bit as much, if not more, than what I made some 30 (plus) years ago.
