If you’ve been following along then you know that the past several recipes I’ve posted have been in celebration of #Choctoberfest 2016. Since this will be my last post for this event (don’t worry, I’ll still be posting chocolate recipes from time to time), I’ve decided to go out with a bang! Today I bringing you my recipe for Chocolate Malted Peppermint Sweet Rolls with Chocolate Malt Icing. And, yes. They’re everything you’d hope they’d be!
For everyone out there with a sweet tooth, this Old Fashioned Chocolate Caramel Turtle Fudge with Pecans that I’m sharing for #Choctoberfest has got your name written all over it. Well, not really, but I double dog dare you not to love everything about it!
Satisfy your chocolate sweet tooth with this extra creamy and delicious Double Chocolate Cheesecake with Espresso Chocolate Cracker Crust. If […]

I thought I’d kick off #PumpkinWeek2016 with a bang this year and share with you this Adorable Turkey Crust Pumpkin Pie. The key to assembling the turkey crust so he doesn’t drown in all that luscious pumpkin filling is to bake the pumpkin pie partially before adding Mr. Tom Turkey on top. Chocolate Cranberry Quick Bread with Pecans comes together quickly, and it’s chock full of creamy, chewy and crunchy ingredients. It’s perfect […]
You guys, it’s apple season! Can you feel the slight chill in the air and the warm scent of cinnamon that is just about everywhere? Yeah, me either but I’m hopeful that it will happen soon. Even though it’s September, today in Illinois where I live the temperatures are supposed to be in the 90’s with a heat index in the 100’s. UGH! Oh well. Since there’s nothing I can do about the outside temperatures, I might as well make it feel like fall on the inside and cook up a batch of Slow Cooker Homestyle Apple Pear Sauce with Amaretto.
While I do like to bake from scratch a lot, there are times when using pre-made store-bought items fits the bill as far as time is concerned. So is the case with this Grilled Pineapple Pound Cake. It’s an utterly delicious, easy, and impressive dessert you’ll be proud to serve.
When you serve your family these Chocolate Cinnamon Breakfast Croissants, they’ll feel like they’ve just stayed at the finest Bed and Breakfast. Then, after they’re done eating, tell them to hit the road for the day so you can have the house to yourself. HaHa! Just like the finest Bed and Breakfast.
